City of Glen Cove Inauguration Ceremonies Set for January 1 at 12 noon
Mayor Reginald Spinello and City Council Members to take Oath of Office
Glen Cove, NY, December 14, 2015…Glen Cove City Clerk Tina Pemberton announced today that the inauguration ceremony for Mayor Reginald Spinello will be held on Monday January 1, at 12:00 noon in the Main Chambers of Glen Cove’s City Hall. Glen Cove residents are invited to attend as the official oath of office is administered to Mayor Reginald Spinello and City Council members Joseph Capobianco, Nicholas A. DiLeo Jr., Pamela Panzenbeck, Efraim Spagnoletti, Timothy J. Tenke and Roderick Watson. Judge Paul Meli and Judge Joseph McCann will be officiating the oath of office for these elected City officials. In keeping with tradition, immediately following the ceremony, Mayor Reginald Spinello and the City Council will convene the first City Council meeting of his second term. “The inauguration offers a time for us to reflect upon the progress we have made in key areas including illegal housing, business development, fiscal responsibility and improving our City’s programs and services, “said Mayor Spinello. “I look forward to continuing to address the critical needs of our community as Glen Cove is on the cusp of realizing a future that will enhance the City’s reputation as a destination for commerce, recreation and waterfront living.
