December 8, 2015, Glen Cove, NY…Glen Cove residents celebrated their religious diversity by enjoying two Village Square events as part of the City’s “Celebrate the Season” festivities.  On Friday, December 4th, Father Daniel of St. Patrick’s and St. Rocco’s Catholic Churches provided the blessing of the City’s beautiful Crèche.  The event, hosted by parishioner and former Glen Cove Police Sergeant, Jack McDougal featured special prayers, remarks from Mayor Spinello along with singers from the All Saints Choir, hot cocoa provided by the Downtown Café and a visit from Santa on a Glen Cove fire truck. This marked the 10th anniversary of the blessing of Glen Cove’s Crèche.
