Families, School and Civic Groups Invited to Help Cleanup Morgan Park and Pryibil Beaches

September 14, 2015…With Labor Day signifying the closing of Glen Cove’s beach season, Saturday, September 19 marks the date where Glen Cove families and groups come together to participate in the annual New York State Beach Cleanup Day.  This event raises environmental awareness and underscores how people can take action to improve New York’s conservation efforts.  Volunteers are asked to meet at 9:00 a.m. at one of two Glen Cove cleanup sites: Morgan Memorial Park on the playground side or at Pryibil Beach.  All supplies will be provided for the beach cleanup.
