Glen Cove’s July 4th All-American Weekend Celebration

Downtown Sounds, Bike Parade, Northwinds Concert, Fireworks and Morgan Park Music!

June 18, 2015…The City of Glen Cove announces its annual July 4th festivities that will feature great music, fireworks and a children’s bike parade. “July 4th in Glen Cove is one of my favorite hometown holidays as it offers something for everyone in our City,” said Mayor Reggie Spinello. “We’ve got fireworks, a classic child’s bike parade, and music downtown and in the park along with beach, picnic and playground fun at Morgan Memorial Park.”

Sponsored by Panera Bread and coordinated by the Glen Cove Youth Bureau, the annual July 4th Children’s Bike Parade is a highly anticipated tradition for kids of all ages. Bikes, scooters, wagons, strollers and battery-powered vehicles roll down the streets at 10 a.m. from Finley Middle School as children have a great time riding through downtown Glen Cove to the Village Square with their spirited energy and patriotism in full view. Children are asked to arrive at the Finley Middle School at 9:30 a.m. to decorate their bikes/wagons etc. and the rain date is July 5.
