Parade Scheduled for Monday, May 25 at 12 noon

May 6, 2015…Mayor Reggie Spinello welcomed Glen Cove’s 2015 Memorial Day Parade Committee as the group finalizes its’ plans for the City’s annual Memorial Day weekend festivities.

The City of Glen Cove Memorial Day Parade Committee, whose members represent the VFW, James Donahue Post 347, American Legion Post 76, American Legion Young-Simmons Post 1765 and the Dan Daly Globe and Anchor Detachment, invites the community to honor the memory of our country’s war veterans. Beginning on Sunday, May 24 and culminating on Memorial Day, the weekend’s activities will include the decoration of the city’s war monuments, church memorial services and the parade.
