The Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) Mike Moran Division 8 and the Ladies AOH are hard at work finalizing preparations for this year's Glen Cove St. Patrick's Day Parade. On Saturday, Jan. 31, the Hibernians held the traditional Presentation of the Sash Ceremony. This year's parade Grand Marshal is the Very Rev. Dom Elias Carr, pastor of St. Rocco's Church and the headmaster of All Saints Regional Catholic School. Mayor Reginald Spinello is pictured with the Aides to the Grand Marshal Robert Ottaviano, past president of AOH, LAOH Laurieann DeFilipo, and Parade Chairman Robert Lynch. The ceremony was followed by a traditional and wonderful  Irish hooley party. This year, the parade is March 22 at 1 p.m. stepping off from middle school.
