The Glen Cove After 3 Program, under the auspices of the Glen Cove Youth Bureau, held a wonderful showcase on January 29. Program Director Spiro Tsirkas, MSW, and the students attending the program had decided that for this showcase, Science would be the overall theme. The members of each After 3 club, which includes dance, art, cooking, Spanish, music, and career exploration, completed a project in keeping with the theme. The music club created their own song, the cooking healthy club members served up delicious food, the art club displayed coral reefs made of clay, and the career exploration club studied different businesses and interviewed professionals. The students offered an excellent showcase of their talents and that learning is fun!
