Mayor Reginald A. Spinello attended the Connolly Elementary School Student Council election last week. Each candidate presented an impressive list of ideas to add to their educational experience at school. He is pictured with Connolly School principal Rosemarie Sekelsky; Glen Cove Schools Assistant Supt. of Curriculum, Instruction and Technology, Dr. Michael Israel; and Superintendent of Glen Cove Schools, Maria Rianna. The candidates are Anna Basil; Amedea Cipriano; Nahtralique Serro; Caralena Genova; Allie Juarez; and Brian Muller. The Student Council election results were announced on November 6. Anna is the president; co-vice presidents are Amedea and Nahtralique; Allie is the Secretary; Caralena is the treasurer; and Brian is the archivist.
