Everyone is invited to join the City Council, Glen Cove CARES, Glen Cove Parks and Recreation, the Beautification Commission and Mayor Reginald Spinello for the annual Tulip Bulb Planting in our Gardens of Hope. On Oct. 18, 2014, at 9 a.m. everyone will meet in the parking lot behind the Glen Cove Library. There will be gloves, garden tools, pink tulip bulbs, and refreshments for all volunteers.

In the fight against breast cancer "where there's awareness, there is hope." Mayor Spinello urges all women to make and keep their appointment for a mammogram. Early detection is the best defense and the first step is getting a mammogram along with living a healthy lifestyle.
