On September 28, 2014, Glen Cove celebrated its Hispanic American heritage with food, music, vendors, and entertainment. The event was sponsored by La Fuerza Unida de Glen Cove board members and the organization’s executive director, Alberto Munera. The mission of La Fuerza Unida is to improve the social, literary, educational, cultural, and economic conditions of Hispanic Americans in Glen Cove.
