Glen Cove Volunteer Fire Department Annual Inspection
Mayor Reginald Spinello, members of the Glen Cove City Council, and local elected officials attended the Glen Cove Volunteer Fire Department’s Annual Inspection this past weekend. Each of the department’s four companies had diligently prepared the firefighting equipment and themselves for this event which included honoring 50-year GCVFD member ex-Captain William Miller, Jr. This year’s bragging rights go to Chemical Engine Company #1 with best attendance going to the Hook & Ladder Company #1. On behalf of all our community’s residents, Mayor Spinello expressed his deep appreciation to all of Glen Cove’s Bravest for their professionalism, dedication and countless hours of volunteer service to keep everyone safe.
