Mayor Spinello received the Public Service Commission’s determination regarding the awarding with conditions of the Verizon FIOS franchise in Glen Cove.

Verizon is agreeing with the Public Service Commission’s condition, as set forth in their decision of 8/14/14, and will be increasing their annual payments to the City for PEG grant by $4,750 per year for 12 years. There are minor details to be worked out with the attorneys, but the service should be available very soon.
