Second Major Bust in Two Months

In continuing his initiative to combat illegal housing and overcrowding, Mayor Reginald A. Spinello announced that on the morning of August 5, the City Attorney’s office obtained a search warrant which was executed by the City’s code enforcement and Glen Cove Police at a house on Chestnut Street. The house, whose owner has a history of housing code violations with similar charges pending since January, was found to be overcrowded with illegal occupancy.
