Downtown from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Mayor Reginald Spinello, the City Council and the Police Department invite everyone to this year’s National Night Out event in downtown Glen Cove. National Night Out is essentially a block party designed increase awareness, safety and neighborhood unity while showcasing the importance of police-community partnerships and citizen involvement.

Glen Cove National Night Out will be held at the Police Department and adjoining parking lot from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will be free food, refreshments, face painting, bounce house, dunk tank, child ID kits, Police Department Tours, and more.
