Mayor Reginald A. Spinello and Congressman Steve Israel met last week and discussed the Mayor’s priorities as he positions the City of Glen Cove for the future. Attracting and sustaining new commercial enterprises with existing businesses, the City’s waterfront redevelopment project and veterans’ services were among the topics discussed.

Mayor Spinello said, “I look forward to working with Congressman Israel for the benefit of our constituents. As our representative in Washington, D.C., he can advocate for the City’s needs which include grant assistance for the waterfront, help for our veterans, and the creation of opportunities by keeping us informed of any new federal funding available for municipalities.”
