Glen Cove, NY, October 20, 2015…To recognize National School Bus Safety Week, leaders of the City of Glen Cove, Glen Cove Police Department and Glen Cove School District joined together with Hendrickson Bus Company to kick-off the week’s activities to promote school bus safety. The program will include enhanced school bus safety enforcement by the Glen Cove Police Department, educational announcements and material distribution by the Glen Cove School District and a public awareness campaign. National School Bus Safety Week, October 19 through October 24 is sponsored by the National Association for Pupil Transportation.
