Glen Cove Mayor Spinello Recognizes Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County for Hosting Glen Cove City Council Meeting

2015-04-29-HCApril 29, 2015…In recognition of the vital role The Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County (HMTC) contributes to the Glen Cove community; Mayor Reggie Spinello presented Neil Patton, Vice Chair of the HMTC with a Certificate of Appreciation. The Center invited the Glen Cove City Council to hold its’ April 28 meeting at the facility and offered free museum tours for Glen Cove residents.

The mission of the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County is to teach the history of the Holocaust and its lessons through education and community outreach. They provide education about the dangers of anti-Semitism, racism, bullying and all other manifestations of intolerance and promote resistance to prejudice and advocate respect for every human being.
