Glen Cove’s Annual Eggstravaganza went off without a hitch this past Easter Sunday, April 5th. Children lined up early at City Stadium as they anxiously awaited the arrival of the Easter Bunny. The annual egg hunt included 10,500 candy filled eggs which were strewn across City Stadium. “This is a great City event. I’d like to thank the Parks and Recreation Department for making this event so special each year. A special thanks also to Henry’s Confectionary for donating three very large homemade chocolate Bunnies to the event. Of course, I would be remiss if I didn’t thank our very special Easter Bunny for making the event so much fun for everyone.”
